The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burns drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Burns forces his way into half guard.

Burns wants to take a breather but Emmeraldo is having none of it.
Burns is taking a breather. Emmeraldo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Burns throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Emmeraldo wants to improve his position but Burns is controlling well.

Burns looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Emmeraldo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Burns is trying to control. Emmeraldo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
