The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Siaki drives through with a takedown into guard.

Douser tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Siaki scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Douser can't keep his opponent in guard - Siaki advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Douser is not content to let Siaki control the position.
Douser won't allow Siaki to pass to mount.

Siaki is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Douser is surviving well by controlling Siaki's body position as best he can.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Stan Stainz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Basher throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cafrey stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Basher scores with a one two! Cafrey had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cafrey is looking to clinch.
Basher tries to bum rush Cafrey with a series of wild strikes but Cafrey uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Basher swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Cafrey counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Basher ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cafrey moves away.
Basher throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cafrey is breathing heavily.

Cafrey avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Basher. Those never looked like landing.
Basher throws a looping overhand right but Cafrey ducks down to avoid it.
Cafrey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Basher.

Basher throws a sloppy head kick and Cafrey moves out of range easily.
No joy there for Basher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Basher throws a shot from downtown. Cafrey moves away and avoids it.

Cafrey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Basher wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Basher pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Basher scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Basher misses with the combination.
Cafrey slips a jab and a cross from Basher.
Basher throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cafrey sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Basher throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Cafrey lands with a kick to the temple. Basher shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Basher scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Cafrey takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Cafrey connects with the punch.
Good standup being displayed there by Basher as he connects with a hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cafrey on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Basher drops Cafrey with a beautiful combination! Cafrey stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Basher is looking for the KO!

Basher finds Cafrey's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Cafrey flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Basher lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Cafrey will be OK.

A less than humble James Basher misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Eclipse can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fartch is looking to escape.

Eclipse is working for a guillotine from mount but Fartch frees his head quite easily.
Fartch tries to hold on but Eclipse pushes him away.

Fartch is desperately trying to improve his position but Eclipse has a good base and remains in mount.
