The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DeLuca feints and as Boitsoff raises his hands in defense, DeLuca changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

DeLuca got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boitsoff has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, DeLuca has managed to get both his arms back between Boitsoff's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boitsoff keeping moving, preventing DeLuca from controlling successfully.
Boitsoff has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
