The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodgers circles away from the clinch attempt

and Rodgers counters with a shoot takedown. Ciosek fights it but they end up in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Rodgers wants to control from the top but Ciosek keeps moving.

Rodgers shoots in looking for a takedown but Ciosek manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rodgers's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
