Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gareth McLellan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and I Duddits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McLellan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Soulja Boy(crank that)-Soulja Boy. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Dave Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Allen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Orton backs up against the cage.
Allen looks to land a combination but Orton avoids it well.

Orton shoots in and bounces Allen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Allen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Orton to his feet.
Allen tries to bum rush Orton with a series of wild strikes but Orton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Oooooh!!! Allen has knocked Orton down with a huge combo! Allen steps away and waves a wobbly Orton back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Allen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Allen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Allen uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Orton drops his hands for a split second and Allen immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Orton face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Allen follows up with a right hand that knocks Orton into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Verchanko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Verchanko feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Widaca sprawling to the canvas! Widaca rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Verchanko finish him?!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Verchanko lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Widaca is looking to close the distance but Verchanko sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Widaca crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Widaca is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
