The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Preuss takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Prime uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Preuss.
Prime tests Preuss's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Aaron Preuss has been cut.
Prime stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice body punch from Prime.
Prime lands a jab to Preuss's midsection.
Preuss should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Preuss looks to score with a jab to the body but Prime is just out of range.
Preuss shoots in looking for a takedown. Prime tries to sprawl out of it but Preuss keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Prime manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Prime cracks Preuss with an uppercut from hell and Preuss crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Prime's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Prime postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Preuss covers up, he's hurt! Prime keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Hogan clinches up against the cage.
Hogan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pung is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Pung has had enough of the clinch but Hogan keeps him there for the moment.

Pung stops a takedown attempt from Hogan.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Craig Mason.
I think Karvakorva has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
