Davies fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Freeman avoids it really well and circles away.
Freeman tests Davies's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Freeman leaves Davies with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Davies tries to move into range but Freeman moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Alan Davies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davies shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Freeman scores with a counter punch that sends Davies to the canvas! Freeman smells blood - he's punishing Davies with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Davies has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chico Lockdown.
