The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCallester moves in looking to clinch but Levanen pushes him off.
McCallester slaps away a takedown attempt from Levanen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Levanen shoots in and drives through. McCallester sprawls well.
Levanen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
McCallester misses with a double jab.

Levanen moves into the clinch.
Levanen blocks an elbow strike.
McCallester throws an elbow that misses.
Levanen has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. McCallester avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Dean McCallester has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jynkka Levanen.
Levanen blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Levanen wants a takedown but no success here.

McCallester is trying to escape the position but Levanen is controlling the position.

Levanen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Let's hope that Levanen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Levanen tries to advance position but instead McCallester slips a leg back in to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Well, if Levanen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Ike Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jackson.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rodriguez is pawing at Zetroc Iii, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Zetroc Iii's nose. Zetroc Iii is badly hurt! Rodriguez pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Zetroc Iii tries desperately to hold on but Rodriguez is relentless in his assault! As Zetroc Iii receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Rodriguez away and this one is in the books!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Idea defending well as AD loads up on a big left hand.
AD throws a series of punches but Idea avoids them all with ease.

AD takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
AD tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Idea was well out of range. Poor timing from AD.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

AD had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Idea defends it easily.
