Cheesara does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Cheesara throws a body punch but Scott moves out of range.
Cheesara sizes up Scott with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Cheesara lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Scott at a distance.
Scott looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cheesara is fending him off so far but Scott persists. Nope, Cheesara circles away and we're back to standing.

Main event

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Bensin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Lidae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lidae comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Crack A Bottle kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alvin Bensin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steven Lidae!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bensin throws an overhand right that lands on Lidae's shoulder, as Lidae tries to avoid the shot.
Lidae throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bensin.
No joy there for Lidae, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lidae darts in and clinches Bensin up against the cage.
Lidae is trying to pull guard but Bensin turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Bensin working hard to break the clinch.

Lidae manages to pull guard.
Bensin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lidae swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Bensin is sitting in close to Lidae's body. Lidae has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bensin is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bensin is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lidae.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Steven Lidae!
