The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Doe gets tackled into the cage by Dean. Dean maintains the clinch.

Dean has Doe pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dean pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Doe tumbling to the mat - Dean dives into Doe's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Doe is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dean lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Banks stalks Jones and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jones's face. Jones staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Moses Jones has been cut.
Whack! Banks lands a heavy head kick that drops Jones. The ref tackles Banks to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Jones was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Bob Banks!

Bisping lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Johnson is looking to close the distance but Bisping sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Johnson crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Johnson is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vine lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Martin wants to get back to his feet but Vine is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Vine closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Martin's guard.
