No joy there for Wells, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hodgins misses with a takedown attempt - Wells sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Nelson has control of Simpson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Simpson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Simpson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Simpson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Nelson has hold of Simpson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Simpson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Nelson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Simpson looks a forlorn figure.

Simpson is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Nelson locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Simpson is forced to tap!
