Arcinas tries to bum rush Hess with a series of wild strikes but Hess uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Hess looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Arcinas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hess has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Arcinas has managed to get both his arms back between Hess's legs - danger averted.
Arcinas is pushing down on Hess's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hess is fighting to maintain full guard but Arcinas has managed to sneak the leg through.

Arcinas is trying for a kimura here. Hess looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Arcinas wins by kimura!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Toe screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
