Kombat has chosen Forsaken as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mortal Kombat was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kombat dodges the punch combination from Lecter.
Kombat looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Lecter closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kombat did well to prevent Lecter getting side control.
Lecter is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lecter with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Lecter has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kombat defend it? Lecter steps over the head and cranks it - Kombat is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lecter!

Rook comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Shinedown-Simple Man kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Will Rook is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rook throws a half hearted mid kick.
Poo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rook is fending him off so far but Poo persists. Nope, Rook circles away and we're back to standing.
Rook lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Rook fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Poo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Poo gets tackled into the cage by Rook. Rook maintains the clinch.

Rook manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Rook.
Poo shoots in and drives through. Rook sprawls well.
Poo tries to clinch but Rook moves away
and Rook counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Poo out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Rook is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Will Rook!
Will Rook decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Stump kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Drop the Bombshell. Seanoa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mama Said Knock You Out. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Seanoa scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Jordan Stump has been cut.

Seanoa darts in and clinches Stump up against the cage.
Seanoa tries for a takedown. No joy.

Stump decides to pull guard.
Seanoa trying to control the position from guard on top but Stump is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Seanoa stands up and waves to Stump to follow him.
Seanoa with a poor takedown

and Stump counters with a nice double leg into side control. Seanoa won't be happy with that.
Seanoa looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stump works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Seanoa wants to control but Stump postures up.
Seanoa is trying to get back to half guard.

Stump looks up at the clock and then as Seanoa takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Stump smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Seanoa is looking to reverse the position.

Stump has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Seanoa is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Stump yanks on the arm and Seanoa is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Stump.

Jeans displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones.
Jeans avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jeans misses with a looping left.

Jeans moves into the clinch.

Jeans has picked Jones up - he's going for a ride! Jeans dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jeans content to control rather than advance.
Jeans wants to pass the guard but Jones is defending well.
Jones tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jones trying to control but Jeans postures up.

Jeans is looking to advance position but Jones won't allow it.
Jones has hold of Jeans's hands but Jeans slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Jeans looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jeans tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Jones wants to improve his position but Jeans is controlling well.
Jeans scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Jeans thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Jeans throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Jeans is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jones avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jeans.
Jones is looking for a sweep. Jeans is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jeans is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones tries to roll over but Jeans keeps him under control.
Jeans has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jeans is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jones trying to hold on to Jeans's head to control him but Jeans postures up.
Jeans thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jeans connects with a nice short shot to Jones's temple.

Jeans is thwarting Jones's attempts to control the position.
Jeans throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Jeans working Jones over with strikes.

Jeans is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jeans working over Jones with some ground and pound. Jones looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Jeans sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jones defending well though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jeans thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head.
Jones tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Jeans manages to move to mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jeans cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Levi Jeans dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Jeans shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.

Jeans pushes Jones up against the cage in a clinch.
Jeans has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jones trying to stall but Jeans improves his position.

Jones ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jones no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Jeans from controlling successfully.
Jeans stopping the sweep attempt from Jones.
Jones tries to strike from the bottom.
Jeans postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it.
Jones looking to control.

Jones wants to hit a switch here but Jeans passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jones there!

Jeans swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Maul throws a left and a right that both miss
and Slughterdog counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Slughterdog tries a head kick but it misses.
Slughterdog shoots in but Maul avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Slughterdog gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Maul.

It looks like Felix Slughterdog has been cut.
Maul connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Slughterdog covering up! Maul comes in with a big uppercut and Slughterdog goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
