The Purple From Down Under told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chis staying out of range there.
Chis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
From Down Under cracks Chis with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
From Down Under throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
From Down Under slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
From Down Under pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Chis back to the cage. From Down Under follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oh Chis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chis is breathing heavily.
Chis glances at the clock... BAM! From Down Under nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Chis crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Chis is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Cage has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cage bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bondoc's head backwards.
Cage circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bondoc walks straight into a right hand from Cage - that's dropped him! Cage jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bondoc from any more punishment! Bondoc complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
