The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rebel gets a takedown into half guard.
Watkins tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Rebel is keen to just control but Watkins is a slippery customer.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Watkins looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Rebel working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rebel connects with a nice short shot to Watkins's temple.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benevides throws a right and a left that both miss.
Turrett with a poor takedown

and Benevides counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Turrett's guard now.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Benevides trying to control the position from guard on top but Turrett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Turrett knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Benevides on the ground.

Benevides has gone for a leg lock! Turrett slips out almost immediately though and dives into Benevides's guard.
Turrett has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Benevides looking for a guillotine here but Turrett defends easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Benevides has instead reached around Turrett's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Benevides arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Orlan throws a wild hook but De Leon just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Orlan gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the ropes! The referee jumps in - De Leon raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
