The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Funky drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ore will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ore working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Funky doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Funky manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Funky is working Ore over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Bear is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tudeep asserts his dominance and retains side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bear shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tudeep eats them both and turns towards Bear to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Dixon Tudeep's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

It looks like Bob Bear has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bear throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tudeep is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bear is just riding it out for now. Tudeep eventually gives up the hold.
Tudeep is keen to just control but Bear is a slippery customer.

Bear wants to get back to his feet.

Tudeep wants to work for an arm triangle but Bear is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bear is refusing to be controlled, as Tudeep sits in half guard.

Tudeep is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bear is just riding it out for now. Tudeep eventually gives up the hold.
Tudeep working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tudeep moves to back control.

I think Tudeep has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
