Hawkins shoots in and drives through. McClusky sprawls well.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McClusky lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hawkins has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hawkins and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

McClusky throws a lazy right hand but Hawkins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hawkins closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McClusky connects with a leg kick. Hawkins looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Good leg kick by McClusky there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A bone on bone clash there as Hawkins blocks the leg kick.
Hawkins throws a series of punches but McClusky avoids them all with ease.

McClusky fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hawkins throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McClusky sees it coming and avoids it easily.

McClusky feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hawkins sprawling to the canvas! Hawkins rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McClusky finish him?!

Hawkins is rocked!
Jack McClusky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hawkins drops his hands momentarily. McClusky doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Hawkins staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Hawkins doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Falcao crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kelly - the referee stops the clock and Falcao gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kelly. Falcao manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryfus Kelly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
