The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Swearengen misses.
Drunkenbastard is breathing heavily.

and Swearengen counters with a two punch combo.
Swearengen throws a leg kick but Drunkenbastard sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Drunkenbastard drops his hands momentarily and Swearengen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Drunkenbastard takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Drunkenbastard misses with a wild body shot.
Swearengen misses the shot to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Swearengen.
Swearengen throws out a loose jab but Drunkenbastard uses good head movement to avoid it.

Swearengen lands with a nice body punch.
Drunkenbastard misses with a body punch
and Swearengen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Drunkenbastard fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Drunkenbastard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Drunkenbastard dives in and grabs Swearengen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Swearengen pushes down on Drunkenbastard's head and hops out.
Swearengen just misses with a punch to the body.
Swearengen tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Drunkenbastard is able to avoid easily.

Swearengen looks to score with a jab to the body but Drunkenbastard is just out of range.
Al Swearengen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drunkenbastard throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Swearengen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Swearengen throws a body punch but Drunkenbastard moves out of range.
Swearengen misses the jab.
Swearengen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Swearengen swings for the body but Drunkenbastard moves out of range.
Drunkenbastard takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

And that's the end of the fight!
Al Swearengen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Swearengen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Pynchon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pynchon throws a series of punches but Antenni avoids them all with ease.

and Pynchon counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Antenni's guard now.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Antenni is looking to sweep but instead, Pynchon has passed into half guard.
Antenni keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Pynchon thows a huge punch but Antenni dodges it nicely.

Pynchon content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Antenni trying to hold on to Pynchon's head to control him but Pynchon postures up.
Pynchon is taking a breather. Antenni says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Pynchon looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Antenni wants to control but Pynchon is keeping busy.

Pynchon seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

It looks like Ari Antenni has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pynchon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Antenni is trying to stand up here but Pynchon is controlling him well.

Pynchon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Antenni has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pynchon is working away from the top position though.

That has opened up Ari Antenni's cut even more.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pynchon looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Antenni with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The cut above Ari Antenni's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Pynchon is nestled in close to Antenni, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ari Antenni has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Thomas Pynchon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Ari Antenni's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ari Antenni's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McHale lands with a thumping leg kick.
Utter closes the distance and clinches up with McHale, looking for a takedown. Utter pushes McHale against the ropes but McHale circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McHale avoids a punch combination nicely.
McHale fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Utter manages to avoid it.
Nice takedown defense from McHale. No joy for Utter on that attempt.
Utter looks to land a left hand but McHale moved out of range nicely.
Utter fails with a takedown attempt.
Beaumont McHale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Utter.
McHale will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McHale shoots in and drives through. Utter sprawls well.

Utter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
