The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee blocks a head kick by Mekhar.
Lee throws a body kick that misses.
Mekhar motions for Lee to come forward. Mekhar throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lee misses with a kick to the body.
Mekhar throws a head kick but Lee moves out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Mekhar 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mekhar throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Mekhar slips a jab from Lee.
Lee scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Lee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The referee asks Lee politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lee prefers to stall for the moment though.

Lee goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mekhar has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lee but great work by Mekhar.

Mekhar has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Lee works to full guard.

Lee pushes Mekhar off and gets back to his feet.

Mekhar moves out of range as Lee throws a body kick.
Mekhar tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice body kick there by Mekhar.
Lee feints a jab and as Mekhar dips his head, Lee unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Mekhar right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Mekhar falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Lee smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

A very excited looking Kevin Lee rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Griggs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cloud but Cloud pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Cloud takes a swing at Griggs's ribcage but misses.
Griggs fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cloud avoids it really well and circles away.
Griggs changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cloud tries to avoid it but Griggs manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cloud to the ground. Cloud escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
