The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stone looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Otubro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stone was covering up waiting for the punch and Otubro finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Otubro wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving.

Otubro thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Otubro trying to control but Stone is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Otubro distracts Stone with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Otubro drops back looking for a leg! Stone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stone manages to kick Otubro off! Otubro jumps back into Stone's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Otubro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We're going to have a standup here because Vicente Otubro wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Otubro shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stone defends it nicely.

Otubro drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Otubro as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Stone screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Otubro! Nice submission victory there!

Perez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sharp's waist but Sharp gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Perez off to one side.

Oooooh!!! Sharp has knocked Perez down with a huge combo! Sharp steps away and waves a wobbly Perez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Oh Perez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Francisco Perez's cut is getting worse.
Andi Sharp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sharp circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Perez to the canvas! Perez doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Sharp keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
