The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boss shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lewis pinned against the cage. Lewis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Boss counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lewis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Boss to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lewis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Boss pulls down on the head and he's put Lewis to sleep! This one is all over!

A head kick misses from Storm.
Sutter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Storm throws a sloppy head kick and Sutter moves out of range easily.
Storm is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sutter.

It looks like Lance Storm has been cut.
Sutter lands a right hook to the body.
Sutter goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Storm tries to clinch but Sutter moves out of range.
Storm tries a head kick but it misses.

Sutter clinches with his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sutter stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Storm throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sutter blocks it with crossed arms.
Sutter blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Sutter is pressed up against the cage. Storm has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sutter down to the mat. Sutter avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

No joy there for Sutter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Storm pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sutter digs a good body shot into Storm's ribs.
Storm takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sutter.
Sutter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Storm moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Storm checks a leg kick.
