The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obrzut lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Obrzut uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Quintana.
Obrzut fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Quintana avoids it really well and circles away.
Obrzut fails with the takedown.

Quintana darts in and clinches Obrzut up against the cage.
Quintana lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Artur Obrzut has been cut.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Quintana.

Artur Obrzut's cut is getting worse.
Obrzut is pressed against the cage. Quintana pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Obrzut! Two more big strikes from Quintana and Obrzut crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

Grappling remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Poldi throws a shot from downtown. Nickleback moves away and avoids it.

Poldi drops Nickleback with a beautiful combination! Nickleback stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Poldi is looking for the KO!

Poldi drops Nickleback with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nickleback looks back up at him and smiles so Poldi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Poldi cracks Nickleback with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Poldi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Nickleback to stand back up!

Salem Nickleback seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nickleback misses with a looping right.
Nickleback takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Nickleback throws a body punch but Poldi moves out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Poldi drops Nickleback with a straight right hand, right on the button! Poldi follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

A fine choice. Jotejko has chosen Ivan Mládek - Jožin z bažin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Jotejko chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Aquino can pounce on him.
Jorge Aquino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aquino throws a leg kick which misses Jotejko 's front leg but catches the back leg as Jotejko tries to avoid it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A left lands for Aquino.
Aquino ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jotejko looks gassed!
Aquino connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Jotejko out cold! This one is over in a flash!
