Kolobnev scores with a spinning back kick!
Kolobnev tries to land a front kick but Sakalas steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sakalas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kolobnev sprawls well. Kolobnev wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sakalas gets slowly back to his feet.
Kolobnev scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kolobnev dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sakalas. That did some damage!

Kolobnev lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Sakalas crumples to the floor! Kolobnev milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berger misses with a straight right.
Berger just misses with a punch to the body.
Van Dyck fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Berger is out of range.
Van Dyck throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Berger keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Van Dyck is looking to chop away at Berger's legs.

Berger avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Van Dyck throws a series of punches but Berger moves out of range.
Berger looks to score with a jab to the body but Van Dyck is just out of range.
Berger throws out a loose jab but Van Dyck uses good head movement to avoid it.
Berger ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Berger closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Berger looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Van Dyck is avoiding damage well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Berger works to advance to full mount. Van Dyck defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
