The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Knox.
Knox throws a lazy head kick

and Craig counters by moving into the clinch.
Craig lands a shoulder strike.
Knox jumps guard but Craig turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Knox has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Craig after a bit of a struggle.
Simon Craig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Broxton Knox.
Craig scores with a shoulder strike.
Craig manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Craig has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

and Craig counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Craig tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Knox swivels and escapes.

Craig changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Knox tries to avoid it but Craig manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Knox to the ground. Knox escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Craig makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Craig has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Knox!

Mercier has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lexus clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Mercier has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Mercier is trying to stick to Lexus's back but Lexus is turning into Mercier. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mercier's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Lexus.

Mercier pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lexus taps out and this one is all over!
