Burnes keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cartez's efforts to push away.
Cartez tries to pull guard but Burnes holds him up against the cage and eventually Cartez drops back down to his feet.

Burnes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Burnes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cartez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Cartez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Burnes lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Cartez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Out lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Out keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Minneo's head.
Minneo throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Out pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Minneo is keeping the position for now.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Out accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Roberts looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Roberts lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mcdonel lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Roberts has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Roberts and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Michael Roberts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
