The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gadafi is looking to clinch but Pain is avoiding it.
Gadafi tries to bum rush Pain with a series of wild strikes but Pain uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Pain shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Pain is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Gadafi is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Gadafi flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Pain anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Gadafi and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Pain slips an arm under Gadafi chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Pain has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Pain is squeezing on Gadafi like an anaconda would it's prey. Gadafi fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Quagmire swings for the body but Zorich moves out of range.
Zorich throws out a leg kick but Quagmire moves out of range and Zorich only half commits.

Zorich decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Rua keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Davison jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rua walks away with a smile on his face. Davison gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
