The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buck throws a right hand that Duque ducks under and follows up with a left that Duque also avoids with ease.
Duque scores with a nice body kick.
Duque missing with a left hand there. Buck was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Buck takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Buck throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Duque was covering up waiting for the punch and Buck finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Duque is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Buck drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Duque manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Buck has Duque in his guard.

Buck controls Duque momentarily but Duque frees himself.

Buck working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duque doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duque manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
