Cartofell tries a low kick but Takayuki avoids it.
Sloppy strikes from Cartofell. Those never looked like landing.
Furuichi Takayuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takayuki looks to score with a jab to the body but Cartofell is just out of range.
Cartofell lands a head shot.
Cartofell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cartofell scores with a punch to the head.
Takayuki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cartofell as he jumps to the side.
Cartofell throws out a loose jab but Takayuki uses good head movement to avoid it.
Takayuki doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Takayuki throws the left hand but Cartofell avoids the punch easily.

Takayuki bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Takayuki is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cartofell knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Takayuki is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cartofell has escaped the position, nice work there.

Takayuki is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cartofell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Cartofell prevents Takayuki from improving position.
Cartofell holds on to Takayuki's head and controls the position momentarily.

Takayuki in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Cartofell is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
