Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Dam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thunder kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 2PAC-. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brasi closes the distance and clinches.
Brasi jumps guard and drags Kondor to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Brasi throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Brasi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kondor throws a strike but Brasi rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kondor throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Brasi throws an elbow that misses. Kondor uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brasi's guard. Nice move by Kondor!

Kondor is looking to work some ground and pound but Brasi has wrist control.
Kondor drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Brasi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kondor has Brasi in his guard.
Kondor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brasi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Brasi lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Kondor utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Brasi is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kondor had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brasi defends it easily.

Brasi lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Brasi throws a strike but Kondor rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kondor postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Brasi is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kondor, into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brasi loads up on a big left hand. Kondor felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Brasi looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Kondor can't hide his disappointment, as Brasi celebrates the victory.
