The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flatley tries to close the distance and clinch up but Futcar swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Futcar slips a jab from Flatley.

Futcar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Futcar looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Futcar passes the guard and advances to mount!
Flatley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Futcar on the ground.

Futcar goes for an armbar but Flatley turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Flatley.

Futcar seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Flatley trying to stand up but can't free himself from Futcar's guard.

WK is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lester is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lester has escaped and now he's on top!
