Hernandez comes into the arena with Welcome to my Nightmare blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boston Dean!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez misses with a head kick.
Dean misses with a series of wild punches.

Dean fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hernandez sprawls well initially but Dean persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dean is pressing down on Hernandez's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hernandez is holding on for now.
Hernandez is trying to stand.
Dean wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hernandez keeps working.

Hernandez makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Boston Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

I would just about give that final round to Boston Dean.

Cole throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Comte stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Comte thuds his right hand into Cole's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Comte is stalking Cole. Cole circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Comte, and it's lights out! Cole really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
