The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belfort feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Alves working for a triangle but Belfort defends it easily.
Belfort is stalling in the full guard.
Belfort knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alves on the ground.

Alves escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Belfort gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Singh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chuteboxe circles away quickly and effectively.
A punch combination from Chuteboxe misses.
Tai Singh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Singh uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chuteboxe.
Chuteboxe throws a lazy right hand but Singh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Singh works over Chuteboxe's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Spartan Chuteboxe has been cut.

Singh feints a jab promting Chuteboxe to slip. Singh then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Chuteboxe slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Singh lands a left and a right that send Chuteboxe crashing to the mat, dazed. Singh thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

OH! Chuteboxe has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Singh smells blood and charges in for the finish! Singh unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Chuteboxe sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Good leg kick by Hurt there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hurt wants to slow Sobrawl down by chopping away at his legs.

Hurt fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sobrawl looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hurt lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sobrawl has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sobrawl and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Sobrawl shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hurt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Renata Sobrawl will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hurt with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sobrawl to score with a decent uppercut.

Hurt throws a head kick but Sobrawl moves out of range.
Sobrawl shoots in for a takedown but Hurt shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Sobrawl closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Sobrawl is rocked!
The fighters circle, before Hurt throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Sobrawl's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Hurt lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Big Hurt! Big Hurt retains his bantamweight title!
Big Hurt really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that ANABOLIC **160** logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
