The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage cracks a nice hook into Goku's ribs.
Goku tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cage manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Goku on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A clash of legs there as Cage blocks the low kick.
Cage scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A swing and a miss from Goku.
Cage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Goku on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Goku throws an overhand right that lands on Cage's shoulder, as Cage tries to avoid the shot.
Cage throws a half hearted mid kick.
Cage rushes Goku with punches - Goku moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Goku goes down! Cage follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
