The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mazzarri.
Mazzarri feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Woo's calf.
Mazzarri tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Woo is able to avoid easily.
Mazzarri throws a shot from downtown. Woo moves away and avoids it.
Woo has his takedown stuffed
and Mazzarri counters with a stiff right hand.

Mazzarri looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Woo!

Mazzarri is looking for a triangle but Woo pushes his legs off easily.
Woo wants to get up but he can't break Mazzarri's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Woo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Mazzarri manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Woo manages to get himself to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mazzarri accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mazzarri throws a strike but Woo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Woo thows a huge punch but Mazzarri dodges it nicely.
Woo slips a nice elbow through Mazzarri's hands, connecting with Mazzarri's forehead.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mazzarri moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Mazzarri has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Woo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Woo is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Mazzarri doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Mazzarri has his foot on Woo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Woo works his way back into a safe position though.
Woo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mazzarri swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Woo working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mazzarri's head.
Mazzarri is looking to sweep but instead, Woo has passed into half guard.

Mazzarri is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Woo rolls with it to try and escape but Mazzarri cranks on the arm and Woo is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Edwards comes into the arena with WASP - Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting blaring out of the sound system. Wallace comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pray by Jay-Z feat. Rob Dougan kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

A head kick misses from Edwards.
Wallace throws a hook but Edwards avoids it easily.
Wallace throws a hook to the side of Edwards's head but Edwards sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wallace throws a jab when Edwards was well out of range.
Edwards moves out of range as Wallace strikes.
Edwards thuds a left hand into Wallace's body.
Edwards uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wallace has time to react.
A head kick misses from Edwards.
Wallace takes a swing at Edwards's ribcage but misses.
Edwards fakes the leg kick and cracks Wallace in the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Edwards just misses with a punch to the body.
Wallace tries to move into range but Edwards moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A slapping body kick lands there for Edwards.

Wallace looking to score a takedown here. Edwards is defending well but Wallace drives through and ends up in Edwards's guard.
Wallace looks gassed!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Edwards looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wallace is one step ahead there.
Wallace missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Edwards utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Wallace is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Wallace is fighting to break Edwards's control of his arms but Edwards is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Wallace drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Wallace seems to have locked his on tight now - Edwards screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Wallace, as he picks up the win!
