The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drone shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gat but Gat pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Drone misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Gat counters with a head kick that drops Drone to the mat! Drone scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gat keeps Drone at a distance using the push kick.
Drone looks gassed!

Gat moves into range and clinches up with Drone.
Gat has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Drone - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Gat, and another! Drone is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

and Stepanov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Price goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Maresio has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Price but great work by Maresio.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You can see the frustration on Maresio's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Price seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Maresio does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Price lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Maresio has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Maresio and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Maresio tries to land a front kick but Price steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Maresio is desperately trying to improve his position but Price has a good base and remains in mount.
Thomas Price overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Maresio tries to hold on but Price postures up.
Price pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Price wants to work for an arm triangle but Maresio is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Price, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
