And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Task stalks Puki and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Puki's face. Puki staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Luki Puki has been cut.
A head kick misses from Task.
Task turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Task rushes Puki and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Task content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Puki takes an elbow to the forehead.
Task tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Puki avoids it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Puki has had enough of the clinch but Task keeps him there for the moment.
Task comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Task lands an elbow inside.

Puki is rocked!
Puki wants to break the clinch but can't.

Task breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Puki tries for a takedown but Task sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Puki gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Oh Puki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A chopping leg kick lands by Task.
Puki seems to have got his legs back now.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Puki is defended easily by Task.
Puki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Task tries to avoid it but Puki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Task to the ground. Task escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luki Puki. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Puki shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Task counters with a leg kick.
Puki is breathing heavily.
Puki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Task circles away.
Random Task is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Puki dives in and grabs Task's left leg, looking for a takedown. Task pushes down on Puki's head and hops out.
Task lands a nice shot that snaps Puki's head back.
Luki Puki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Task jabs Puki right on the nose. Puki blinks but takes it well.
Task scores with a jab to the body.
Task connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Puki to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Task!

Payne lands with an overhand left.

Bravo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bravo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Bravo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Payne defends it well.
Bravo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Payne's head.
Bravo is trying to control the action in half guard but Payne is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bravo stops Payne from getting back to his feet.

Bravo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The Tulip cracks Stone on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Stone falls backwards against the cage. The Tulip follows up with more strikes that drop Stone to his knees. The Tulip keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Stone! This one is all over!

and Palowunu counters with a body kick that stops Kiuga in his tracks momentarily.

CanChopper is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
