Sarney thuds his right hand into Jackson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Jackson throws a looping overhand right but Sarney ducks down to avoid it.
Sarney sizes up Jackson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Ceaser Sarney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Dawson shoots in looking for a takedown. Vartanov tries to sprawl out of it but Dawson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vartanov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vartanov goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Dawson lands a nice looking body shot.
Vartanov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dawson.

Vartanov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dawson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Nickleson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
McFly throws a hook but Nickleson avoids it easily.
McFly looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Nickleson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nickleson wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marty McFly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McFly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nickleson manages to avoid it.

Pistachio lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pistachio.

Martin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pistachio, pushing him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pistachio waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Martin. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Martin to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Martin is still in real trouble! Can Pistachio finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pistachio passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Pistachio cracks Martin with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Pistachio immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Martin is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Pistachio!

Lancing tries to move into range but Oneal moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Oneal sends Lancing crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Oneal is motioning to the referee to let Lancing up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Lancing is rocked!

It looks like Aaron Lancing has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oneal misses with a kick to the body.
Lancing is still on wobbly legs! Can Oneal finish him?
Oneal throws the kick towards the body but Lancing avoids it.
Oneal throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
BAM! Oneal delivers a spinning backfist that drops Lancing like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Licha drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Licha as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Rutten screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Licha! Nice submission victory there!

A very excited looking Lisandro Licha rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Halo is trying desperately to improve position.
Scotch landing strikes from the mount and Halo is in trouble!
Halo is wriggling around trying to escape.
Scotch lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Halo hang on?
Halo is looking to improve his position but Scotch isn't that keen on the idea.
Halo trying desperately to get to his feet.
Halo really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Halo is in a horrible position here. Scotch smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Scotch postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Halo in real trouble here! The ref calls for Halo to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
