The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bot Ii tries to clinch up.

Person shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bot Ii manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Let's hope that Person has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like Person might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Very Important Person was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Bot Ii lands a nice hook to Person's body. Person takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole throws a right and a left that Saddi avoids nicely.

Cole shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Saddi makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Cole changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Saddi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Cole wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Saddi, who protects the arm well.

Cole is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Saddi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
