Banners throws a hook but Portokalov blocks it.

Banners lands a big right hand that sends Portokalov crashing to the mat! Banners stays standing though and waves Portokalov back to his feet!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Banners throws a series of punches but Portokalov moves out of range.
Banners pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Banners looks to throw the jab but Portokalov is out of range.
Portokalov defending well as Banners loads up on a big left hand.
Portokalov misses with a wild combination.
Banners tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Portokalov was well out of range. Poor timing from Banners.
Ken Banners seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Banners drops Portokalov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Portokalov looks back up at him and smiles so Banners waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The cut above Limon Portokalov's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Limon Portokalov's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
