The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bertholf lands with a nice combination. Bubba backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Big Bubba has been cut.
Bertholf fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bubba on the side of the head.

Bubba looking to score a takedown here. Bertholf is defending well but Bubba drives through and ends up in Bertholf's guard.

Ericson looks for the body kick but Angelo saw that one coming.
Ericson stuns Angelo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ericson connects with a leg kick. Angelo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Angelo tries for a takedown but Ericson circles away easily
and Ericson counters with a leg kick.
Ericson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Angelo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ericson as he jumps to the side.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ericson, as that shot connected.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ericson.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Angelo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ericson sprawls well. Ericson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Angelo gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Travis Faure.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain tries to score a power double leg takedown but Masiero sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pain somewhat.
Masiero throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Pain avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Pain fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Masiero to the ground. Pain is now in Masiero's guard.

Masiero is still in real trouble! Can Pain finish him?
Pain loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Masiero scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Pain land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Pain stands and salutes the crowd.

Jarvinen clinches up with Leffe and pushes him back against the cage.
Jarvinen tries to pull guard but Leffe forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Jarvinen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Leffe walks away with a smile on his face. Jarvinen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Albino Leffe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yrjo Jarvinen.

The fight stays on the outside here - Leffe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Leffe takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jarvinen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Leffe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jarvinen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Well Jarvinen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
