The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Gonzales jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Angelo.
Gonzales pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Angelo back to the cage. Gonzales follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Gonzales will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Angelo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gonzales throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Angelo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
