The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murch looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Murch.
Murch with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vidmar to score with a decent uppercut.
Murch shoots in looking for a takedown but Vidmar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Murch's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Josip Vidmar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernando Murch.

Nice straight punches there by Vidmar. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Vidmar.

No joy there for Vidmar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vidmar cracks Murch with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Murch tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Vidmar pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Murch is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Madden ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Madden no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Madden had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Holmstad defends it easily.

Smith kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Anarchy in the UK - Sex Pistols. Heavy lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Ubereem will be OK.

That was a close round but I would say that Tio Fame will probably get the nod.
