The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baum goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Baum closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Turk's guard.

Baum postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Turk is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Baum, into his guard.

Baum has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Turk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Baum escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Turk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Baum had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Turk defends it easily.

Baum is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Baum is trying to work for a kimura but Turk is defending well.

Baum is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Turk is just riding it out for now. Baum eventually gives up the hold.

Baum seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Turk does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Turk connects with a good right hand that stumbles Baum. Baum circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Baum shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Turk takes a swing at Baum's ribcage but misses.
Turk connects with a good right hand that stumbles Baum. Baum circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Baum tries for a takedown but Turk sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Baum shoots in for a double leg but Turk sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Johnny Turk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Baum.
Baum doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Turk counters with a hugh head kick that removes Baum from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!
