Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Mailov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Larson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sweet Child of Mine kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Maxim Mailov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Maxim Mailov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Larson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mailov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Larson.

Larson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Mailov is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Mailov flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Larson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Mailov and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Larson slips an arm under Mailov chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Larson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Larson is squeezing on Mailov like an anaconda would it's prey. Mailov fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Bellido fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Montana avoids it really well and circles away.
Montana leaves Bellido with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Montana lands a nice shot that snaps Bellido's head back.
Montana catches Bellido with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Montana explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Both fighters circling a little - Royal finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Boy throws a series of punches but Royal avoids them all with ease.

Rivera closes the distance and clinches up with Morozov, looking for a takedown. Rivera pushes Morozov against the cage but Morozov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Morozov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rivera has time to react.

It looks like Antonio Rivera has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rivera fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morozov avoids it really well and circles away.
Rivera is still on wobbly legs! Can Morozov finish him?
Rivera walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Rivera limp body while Morozov jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pavel Morozov!
After winning the bout, Pavel Morozov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
