Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Kopite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wes Barton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Linchpin. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kopite throws a series of punches but Barton moves out of range.
Barton throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Barton throws a half hearted mid kick.
Kopite uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Barton.
Kopite really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Barton looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Kopite lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Barton tries to land a body kick
and Kopite counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Barton works the jab nicely.
Kopite avoids the head kick by Barton.
Barton digs a good body shot into Kopite's ribs.
Kopite misses with a series of wild punches.
Kopite connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kopite connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Barton's hands.
Kopite lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Barton goes down and covers up as Kopite starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ingunn slips a jab from Blub.

Blub gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ingunn to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Ingunn postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Blub is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ingunn, into his guard.
Blub is looking to work some ground and pound but Ingunn has wrist control.
Blub lands a couple of digs.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Blub accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Blub postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Ingunn here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Dikiy darts in and clinches Madden up against the cage.

Madden breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dikiy uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Madden shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dikiy but Dikiy pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Madden fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dikiy to the ground. Madden is now in Dikiy's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Possibly an early stoppage but Dikiy doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Iori takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Iori avoids the body shot from Laurent.
Iori takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Laurent moves in looking to clinch but Iori pushes him off.

Laurent closes the distance and pushes Iori back into the cage.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
