Undercard bout

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Quatrone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Texas Trash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Quatrone might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stronger by Kayne West. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quatrone closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Trash's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Quatrone scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Trash working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Quatrone.
Quatrone throws a big elbow that misses.
Quatrone looking to sit in guard and control but Trash gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Trash trying to control the position from guard on top but Quatrone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Trash must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Quatrone feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Quatrone misses with a jab, cross combination.
Quatrone connects with a nice looking jab.
Trash stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Quatrone looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
