Steel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Guerra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Steel is fending him off so far but Guerra persists. Nope, Steel circles away and we're back to standing.
Steel scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

After the fight, Cory Steel was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Huey Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Granite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Judo Flip. Granite comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Brokencyde - Get Crunk kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rocky Granite acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Freeman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Granite's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Granite has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Freeman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Co-main event

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnjo Chipchase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Ranson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters had to take extra time to make weight as they missed the initial 170lb limit. Johnjo Chipchase came in at 171.2 and Bob Ranson came in at 171.2 but after the extra two hours, both guys managed to get within the one pound allowance. No doubt it will have affected them physically though, so let's see if that has an impact on the fight. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!
