Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chico Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Konsai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konsai is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The dull razor. Chico Alvarez had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Alvarez tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Konsai cranks the arm and Alvarez screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Alvarez, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ken Konsai decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

As Dos Santos receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Javis away and this one is in the books!

Redeemer seems to have locked his on tight now - Hitler screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Redeemer, as he picks up the win!

Olympic's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Olympic was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
