I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jacob Smith was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Warburton as he avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Warburton or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith which made him look bad.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Smith.

Warburton feints and as Smith raises his hands in defense, Warburton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Warburton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smith bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Warburton's guard.

Morales shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Silva throws an overhand right that lands on Morales's shoulder, as Morales tries to avoid the shot.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Silva has an Americana. Morales didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Silva is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Silva hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Dir bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Dir misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Power takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Wietrzny ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shamrock moves away.
Wietrzny throws a hook to the side of Shamrock's head but Shamrock sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brock Shamrock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shamrock ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Shamrock lands a left and a right that send Wietrzny crashing to the mat, dazed. Shamrock thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
