The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robinson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Morgan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Morgan is looking to regain half guard here but Robinson keeps moving and retains side control.
Robinson cracks Morgan with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Robinson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Morgan is being controlled here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morgan can do anything to dispel that myth.
Robinson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Magomedov wants to get up but he can't break Jacobs's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Magomedov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jacobs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Magomedov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Magomedov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
